One is located at the apex of the left tower in the back. There are three Spirits available here as well as two Children of Light. Assuming the player found Spirits in the Sliding Race and/or the Coliseum, they will be able to access this area on a second play through of Valley. This area lies behind the Spirit Gate leading out of the Ice Rink. Officially this Area is called the Citadel, though many players refer to it as the Orrery. The Sliding and Flying Races meet near the end with an additional Child of Light on the course, leading to the same Coliseum.

Currently, collecting all of the lights and completely filling the orange meter in both the upper and lower areas of the race does not yield any additional reward.Īlong this course you will also find one Child of Light to collect during the race. You will always be rewarded with 150 pieces of wax (as long as it's your first time completing the race for that day). It does not, however, matter how many of the fragments of light you catch during the race. This race course, however, most resembles the original race that appeared in the early days of the beta, when players would race down the hills collecting butterfly lights. While this is still referred to as a 'race,' the racing element has long been removed from the game.

You will find a ledge to the right of the slide's end, which you can use to run towards the platform with the Spirit. Simply slow down on the last section, and walk carefully along the edge to trigger the cutscene. If you don't have the cape power to reach this platform, you may also approach directly from the slide down into the Ice Rink. There are two Children of Light and one Ancestor Spirit in this area.įrom the middle platform in the center of the ice rink, fly up to the left of the bird statue, the Ancestor Spirit is high up on the side of the mountain to the right. Since there is only one Spirit available to collect in the Ice Rink, new players are forced to follow the open route to the Sliding Race building. There are two exits from the Ice Rink, but one is blocked by a Spirit Gate that requires two Spirits from Valley to open.

There is a hidden area beneath the ice that houses one Child of Light. The Ice Rink area has seen a lot of changes over time.

You can purchase Cosmetics from the Spirits here, and change into them using the Closet.īetween the Social Space and the Ice Rink, you slide down a hill where you can collect Candle Wax and find one Child of Light. As with the other levels since Daylight Prairie, the first area of the level is the Social Space where you will find a bonfire, Closet Space, and the Ancestor Spirits that you freed in the current Realm.
